NEW ROAD Construction was in attendance Friday October 26, 2018 for the ground-breaking event for the $25 million annex to the John F. Scarpa Cumberland County Technical Education Center.  The new Health Science and Medicine building, about 55,000 square foot, is intended to house up to 200 students and connect to the main school building.  Design features include a lecture hall, large enough to hold the student body, laboratories, varying size classrooms, a cafeteria and kitchen, a fitness room, and a media center.

In attendance, with the gold-plated shovels provided by NEW ROAD Construction, included Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney; Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders Director Joseph Derella and Freeholder James Quinn, both Millville residents; county Improvement Authority CEO Gerard Velazquez III; CCTEC Superintendent Dina Elliott; attorney Douglas Long and Millville Mayor Michael Santiago.

We are excited to manage this project for the CCIA and
proud of the variety of successful capital projects
completed alongside CCIA.
