Moorestown Township Public Schools passed a referendum for a $42.9 million construction program in order to perform renovation work to all six of the District’s schools. Some of the renovation work was common to all six schools. This included: HVAC upgrades (including new building automation system (BAS)); partial roofing replacements; improved building security (including new security vestibules, access control upgrades and new security cameras); technology infrastructure upgrades; partial exterior door replacements. Also, five of the six schools had their parking lots and/or driveways repaved. The construction program also included interior renovations, improvements to the High School athletic complex (including artificial turf field, new field lighting, resurfacing of running track and bleacher repairs), a new addressable fire alarm system at the High School, auditorium upgrades at three of the schools, interior door replacements at two of the schools, new PA and burglar alarm systems at three of the schools, and site drainage improvements at one of the schools.
